The Realness Radio Show  – monthly Sundays 6-8pm

Al English is a multi-genre D.J, and record label owner based in Greater Manchester, U.K.

Al spent his formative years gigging as a drummer in bands, before putting his creative energy into D.J’ing and making beats.

As the creative mind behind the Realness Radio show, an eclectic broadcast steeped in Hip Hop culture which is now a decade old and has surpassed 100 shows, Al has hosted a wide range of artists and D.J’s from across the globe including Australia, New York, Brazil and France.

During the pandemic Al evolved the Realness Radio into a live stream format called Live from the Groove and went on to host live streams and mixes featuring The Allergies, JFB, Jazz T and ExP as well as a number of independent record label showcases.

Following the huge success of this, Al launched Live from the Groove the record label and has since released several sold-out products across 7” and 12” vinyl format and cassette with radio play from the BBC, Bobbafat and Rob Luis.

Al currently holds residencies in several venues in the greater Manchester area and tours to further afield locations such as Cheshire, Bristol, Brighton and Amsterdam.

TMB is a multi-genre D.J, and record label owner based on the South Coast, U.K.

TMB found his passion for collecting records and D.J’ing at the age of 13, inspired by his older brother’s Hip Hop collection in the 80’s.

After cutting his teeth on the Drum & Bass scene in his home town of Leamington Spa in the Midlands, TMB’s musical taste evolved into a hugely eclectic range from Hip Hop to Reggae, Latin music and Funk’n’Soul.

TMB currently DJ’s at venues on the south coast and manages artwork direction and creative concepts for the Live from the Groove label.

TMB founded the Get it Together D.J collective who have supported Lord Finesse, Beardyman, D.J Format, The Allergies and Krafty Kuts.

Al is part of the Get it Together D.J collective along with DJ Trick and Simon C.
