Stoo Elvin

The Darkest Light – monthly Saturdays 12 noon

Stoo first graced the decks in 1985 and since then he’s played at everywhere from basements to lofts, members bars to clubs, a railway arch for Sony and a trailer advertising cat litter in a field on Hackney Marshes during Pride weekend.

He has DJ’d with Horse Meat Disco, Red Rack Em, Ashley Beedle and Joey Negro to name a few and had a fortnightly show for eight years on Future Radio.

He now presents The Darkest Light every four weeks spinning the sort of sounds you’ll hear him playing as part of the ‘Balearic’ DJ trio Islands.

With the show’s tagline ‘unobtrusive and discrete sunshine sounds that set a natural mood’, the show will ease you in to your weekend.

The Darkest Light back catalogue is available below – and the other DJs’ shows can be accessed through our Archive page –
