Upside Dan

UPSIDEDAN has a passion for music and a love for the radio. Having trained as a trumpeter and pianist from an early age and later graduating from Trinity College of Music with a music degree in the late 90’s he found himself infatuated with the London club scene, the music and the vibes of the middle of the dancefloor. Combining his technical knowledge of music and an obsession of electronic house music he began record collecting and became a bedroom DJ.

UPSIDEDAN looks to emulate the vibe of a party in his radio shows.  Lockdown enabled Dan to spend more time at home and build confidence to produce his own radio show in East London where he hosts a Saturday night show.

His shows take the listener on a musical journey, through a variety of genres from soul, funk, deep house, breaks, and chugging bass lines, promoting the very best in today’s electronic music, and throwing in the odd nostalgic track you may not have heard for a while.
